Perfect Plains for the everyday
Our brand-new plains cross the spectrum of our ever-evolving colour palette.
Allegra and Mineral are two wonderfully versatile fabric collections. Together, they create a toolbox of plain fabrics for interior designers. Each design is uniquely dyed, offering a library of shades for layered and textured interior schemes.
Allegra and Mineral are dual-purpose performance fabrics that are ideal for upholstery and drapery. Made from 100% cotton and a cotton/linen mix, each design features a Carbon Zero (C0), water and stain-resistant finish, which provides a high level of stain and water repellency.
The allure of Allegra
58 colours, ranging from bold and jewel-like to tonal and muted come out to play in Allegra. Made from 100% cotton, Allegra has been piece-dyed for an intensity of colour. The beauty of Allerga is its versatility; dual-purpose, this fabric is suitable for drapery and upholstery and has a Carbon Zero (C0), water and stain-resistant finish applied to the finished fabric, making for an ideal fabric for the spills and stains of everyday life.
Claire Greenfield, Lead Designer at Harlequin, says, “This series of plains offers designers an exciting colour line that moves through the spectrum of hues. It joins other performance fabrics, including Performance Velvets and Performance Bouclé, for a rich and varied selection of cloths woven from natural and recycled fibres.
A moment for Mineral
With 75 colours to choose from, Mineral revels in a multitude of tones. Made of cotton and linen, this fabric has been yarn-dyed for a cross-colour aesthetic and natural movement, meaning you get a tonal and adaptable fabric in Mineral. Pops of colour emerge from the palette, all true to Harlequin’s ethos. As with its partner, Allegra, Mineral has the Carbon Zero (C0) finish applied so spillages, wine or water, bead on the fabric and run off.
